I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. I was a single mom of a 2 year- old when I started my degree. I worked as a personal trainer, certified by the American Council on Exercise. I also taught aerobics at the YMCA. After I graduated college, my daughter began kindergarten and I started a new career as a Health and Physical Education teacher. I taught for 5 years in a middle school and I currently teach in an elementary school.
The daily interaction I have had with children and their families has inspired me. I am motivated to help people make a difference in their lives. Many people want to change their lives, but they don’t know how. I do. I know what they need to do and I am bursting to share the information they need.
As an avid runner, I have completed 13 marathons, 8 half marathons, and many assorted shorter races since I started running in 1999. I enjoy yoga and weight lifting on my cross training days. Whenever it is you are reading this, you can be sure that I am training for a race.
I am absolutely passionate about living a healthy life. What I have learned over the years can help others enjoy an active, healthy and fulfilling life for themselves and for their families.
